Briefing

Business has never been so crazy good since this latest time. My last robberies have made me richer than expected. The rent is paid and due to my investments, I think it's safe to say it shall remain so for a long time. Maybe the end of my career is nigh? But I couldn't decide to stop before doing a job that has recently emerged.

Recently, I have spent a little time in a local tavern, having a drink to relax after exhausting jobs. Something led me to keep an eye on a strange man who has been in wait for someone to meet him at the same place. I don't know much about that guy. He seems to be a well-known beast hunter in the city... and he looks to have a funny appetite for keeping souvenirs belonging to each of his targets. A bit like me, although it's more fun to have wealth in my case.

For days, I could only make little spying runs, but eventually, I could see what he was expecting. A weird guy hidden under a cloak gave him a chest in exchange for coins. I don't know what this chest contained. But the man really looked happy to receive it. Who knows - maybe it's time for a new trick.

This hunter won't be an easy target, however. In fact, he would kill me without any pain if he sees any part of me. He also looks to have made a good profit with his job and is supposed to be the owner of a house outside the walls of this city, protected by guards and according to rumors, his own traps to avoid an intrusion.

The fact I have absolutely no information and that my only goal is a chest for which I don't know what is inside, makes this mission risky. I hope I won't be disappointed. At worst, it would have been the occasion to wonder if it was time to retire.
