I've been stuck in this cave for 2 weeks now, so I thought I'd take up a pen and paper to pass the time.
I wish I knew who let Lord Chauncy know it was me who raided his family tomb. He's now apparently decided I'm breathing way too much and has hired Lord Bile to bring me "to justice". Lord Bile is the newest addition to our populace and has gained weatlh and esteem surprisingly quickly.
Some Say his rise to power was gained by less than virtuous means.
Anyway, Chauncy has now hired Bile to hunt me down. Normally I'd laugh at the city watch's efforts to find me, but Bile has also offered a steep price on my head.
Now, in addition to the city guards, I've got my own compatriot thieves sniffing for my blood. I can't really blame them. The price is high, and I'd probably do the same. The city's no place for me at the moment.
Unfortunately for the Lords, I've acquired som pretty impressive hiding places over the years. Unfortunately for me, I've been stuck like a hermit hiding in this cave for far longer than I'd like
I found a note just outside my cave while scouting for food....
