Story:

Now that I have decent knowledge on where to look for the gem, it is time for me to pack my essential equipment and make my way to the Pagan temple Fausto's book mentioned.
If what I read is true, the Catalyst of Cleansing should still be there, assuming the Dark Sect didn't get there before me.
Basso mentioned the existence of a mining complex in the mountains and that its tunnels should take me directly to the other side and into the forests, but he also said that the place was occupied by one of the richest men in The City so the place will be heavily guarded.
Venturing into the wilderness with an entire cult on my tail is not something I'm not used to. Things can't get any worse.
