Hello everybody! :) Thief Guild is getting bigger, which is happening thanks to its active members. We are so happy there are also other people interested in our fan mission database idea \o/
Today's update is another major step forward - the forums are now open! More and more people participate in adding content to our database. We see new: screenshots, videos, directory descriptions and, last but not least, fan mission ratings. That might be a good moment to come out of the shadow! We need these forums to decide together on the future of the Guild. But for now, let's say hello and get to know each other :)

Didn't realize there was a sort of "hello everyone" forum but I guess I better chip in.
Hello all! I'm a zoomer gamer of sorts who inexplicably got hooked onto Thief 1 and 2 about two years ago—although Yahtzee Croshaw / Zero Punctuation was definitely where I first heard of the series. I may not have the patience of your typical Thief player, since I'll only spend about fifteen minutes on a puzzle before I give up and look for hints, but I'm trying to get better about that. Same with being a gigantic wuss about undead / horror missions.
Hoping to maybe replay some of the missions I've rated on the site and give at least some of them proper reviews, 'cause I had a nasty habit of just giving a mission 7/10 if I liked it but couldn't finish it. Again, low patience, but trying to work on it.
See you all around! I'll be waiting for 'The Black Parade' to come out along with the rest of ya'.

I'm in the same shoes as MarcusFlintlock was - I didn't realize there was this "Say hello!" topic here. But, better late than never I guess :)
I'm a Thief player since 2006 (played Deadly Shadows first, but started to appreciate Thief 1 and 2 much more later on) and one of the many silent critics of fan missions :D
Nice to see the series still has its fan base and lots of talented people put time and effort into often surprisingly well designed fan missions.
Also, congrats and many thanks to the creators of this site! While TTLG forums has more conversations going, this place has probably the most well put together platform for showcasing fan missions. Great job!

Hello fellow taffers. I've been playing Thief games since about 2006, when I happened to stumble across a CD of T1 at a closing down sale and bought it on a whim, not knowing what to expect. For the last three or four years I've been mostly playing Dark Mod and have even put out a few mediocre little levels.

Hi there, the two LGS Thief titles are like my comfort games, when I feel unmotivated or down I play a fan mission. I like to write reviews for missions I feel strongly about (either good or bad). I also backed up all the FM missions on "thiefmissions.com" onto Web Archive for safe keeping. And lastly I sometimes make videos showing how to beat a FM, but this I do rarely.
I love Thief Guild and It's easily the best way to find new FM's to play.

Hello. I'm brand new to the Thief franchise and Immersive sims in general. My first playthrough of Thief Gold and Thief 2 only occurred earlier this year and was recommended this place because I enjoyed them both immensely. Can't wait to check out some FMs!

All our community (TTLG and other sites) would mean less without your excellent walkthroughs. Speaking of which, there are hardly a few FMs in Thief Guild database that have your walks linked.
On a long term, I am designing some features that will make uploading of walks, and other player-created documents much easier for everyone (just provide a big bunch of documents, and the site will link them semi-automatically).
Would you be interested in testing the feature, by providing your files? - if yes, reach out to me on chats.
Regarding problems with joining the site - if you remember what was the specific problem, that would also be very useful for me. Potentially other people might have problem joining as well. If that is the case, I am obliged to fix it (Please write on chats, as well).

hello!
i'm mawedgone and i've been playing thief gold for a few years now. It's quickly become one of my favorite games of all time T2 is also really good but i'm not quite as in love with it as the original. my favorite missions are The Haunted Cathedral & Shipping and Recieving.
I love claustrophobic and vertical missions, and my preferred playstyle is "anything goes" taking my time and ironmanning levels.
I have yet to dig into dromed (old! confusing! scary!) but I have a few ideas mapped out, including a bathhouse, a surreal hacienda version of "The Sword" and a noir-esque modern art museum.
