As far as mini-campaigns go. The first mission is a quarter with a pagoda. With plenty of verticality. The second mission is a huge crypt. Also with plenty of verticality (and undead).
The city part looks smaller than it actually is. There are many places to visit, including the pagoda tower. I don't think I saw one in Thief FMs before. As for locations, this mission solves a frequent problem that I have with city FMs. It's interiors are quite extensive. A hotel, a cathedral, an inn or some apartment, there's a bit of substance to all of them. Unlike many other city missions where interiors are usually 1 room with a window. Or 1-room shop with a second floor at best. So exploration is A LOT of fun. There's an interesting, intriguing correspondence between various parties as well.
Now, the second part is even better. It's a an underground city with various tombs, packed with various cool traps. So reading is absolutely necessary. It uses, I think, everything at it's disposal. Including sound. It's "Bonehoard"+"Lost City" on steroids. Majestic Ziggurat is amazingly tight (but not frustratingly so) and atmospheric. And overall each tomb has something unique to offer. You will need to gather many artifacts to reach the main goal, while dodging or fighting many evils. It's an absolute love letter to The Dark Project and I loved every moment of it.
This mission is as good as it gets. Highest recommendation if you like supernatural and tombs.
