The trial contest was not a good contest. Of it's four entries, one was unfinished, one was awful, and the third one was... subpar.

This mission is the contest winner, and to be blunt, I feel like it blows the other missions out the water. Unfortunately, it achieves this by being average.

This is a daytime mission, you arrive in the day, need to break into a bathhouse/brothel, steal some loot, and then kidnap someone. All pretty straight forward stuff. However the enviroment feels notably different to most missions. There is a lot of effort to make this small desert town have it's own mmeorable look and feel. While I have seen similar things in the modern day, back when it came out, it was pretty unique.

The mission is a little barren unfortunately, dare I say a bit unfinished, but nothing is missing that is important to the feel or objectives. It's a complete package, and the writing is fairly decent for what it is.

All in all, this mission is pretty good. It's hard to recommend it, but your not going to hate playing it.
