This mission takes the best aspects of the classic Thief horror missions like Return To The Cathedral and Robbing The Cradle and condenses them into a medium sized yet very dense house of horrors. The map isn't very big overall but the mobs are so meticulously placed that it feels bigger than it is and the deeper into the tower you go the more tense it gets culminating in a crescendo of necromantic malice that would make Azaran The Cruel blush. The backstory to the tower is told very well through various books and letters, not too much and not too little resulting in a harrowing atmosphere. Near the end of the mission you get an optional objective concerning the artifact that caused all this commotion and that helps to wrap up the whole story in a very impressive and satisfying way. Few have taken advantage of the Thief-Horror formula as well as this.
