You grab your equipment and head out too meet another thief. Then you both proceed to the gate and have a conversation with a guard. The guard opens the gate. Another guard is near the lever. You go through the gate and that it's it. You can touch the lever and the guards will aggro. If you hide behind the thief, he will easily kill them both.
