Clearly a lot of effort went to create this campaign, but some design decisions inexplicably hampered gameplay where it became a chore in some missions. As everyone is fully aware the mantling in this engine seriously flawed, compared to any other Thief game/s. And this created a lot of frustrating WTF moments throughout the campaign.

Like Mike, when I started "Now and Then", I thought it would be small city/museum mission.

This mission unfortunately didn't go through a lot of beta testing, so bugs like incorrect use of visportals never got caught. This is primarily what is causing the poor perf.

This mission is very old, like 2011 old. The mission was originally built for the Halloween contest, hence its shortness. But there was a very bad show stopper of a bug in the tavern. So 2 days before Halloween 2020 I thought what the hell, lets see if I can fix this bug and any other mapping bugs or old techniques. As it been 9yrs, it turned out there was quite a number of bugs. But I fixed them all, including making a new Ghost Ai skin for other mappers to use :-)

This type of T1/2 mission is what I thoroughly enjoy the most. I love the rats nest nature of the FM, the constant rewards and eye candy you get when you explore. Then there is the story, very unique and encapsulated, fantastic.

I have just finished going through both of Skacky's lets-play vids and fixed, corrected and added to this mission based on his observations, bugs reports and annoyances. Should be a much better all round experience for new players. There is still a few more things to fix and once those are done and myself and dragofer have done a quick fly through version 1.1 will get released.
