A Simple robbery of a monastery, while this mission is old, it seems by the time it was made, people had learned how the basics well enough to start doing more interesting things than most of the previous missions I have reviewed. A door that locks behind you, forcing you to find another route back out, NPCs that operate machinery, and a slightly varied creature list all must have helped this mission stand out back in the day. These days it looks a bit simple, the maze underneath the monastery comes off as more annoying than cool, and the poor sound design really stands out as a problem. Thankfully, the gameplay is pretty solid, and this mission is fun, even divorced from any historical interest.
I do give the advice to anyone reading this to use the end level cheat before going loot hunting on expert though: the loot objective is very much a "find every piece of loot" situation, and that can be very frustrating if you don't know where to look.
