Although the Twinklestone might seem a bit useless at first, it can be a powerful tool.
It provides an infinite amount of light sources that one can place everywhere in the mission.
Use it to make your foes better visible for your own creatures, or to lure them into your traps…

Some oddities:
If you aim on one of the giants in this mission, it is best to aim at their center since
projectiles pass through their arms and legs from time to time.

Вступ

Welcome to the north of Faerûn, adventurer!
After weeks of marching through the icy north you’ve finally reached your destination –
the Ten Towns. Your journey led you from Easthaven past Bryn Shander to
Caer-Dineval. When you reached the small town, news of strange events in this area
awaited you. People spoke of vanished caravans and ambushes on the Icewind Pass, hordes
of Goblins and marauding Frost Giants. Contact to the Glitterstone Mine has been lost
several weeks ago and there is no trace of all the mineworkers. Hrothgar, the protector
of Easthaven, sent out a small expedition to the mine, but they never returned either.
As you listen to these stories inside the warm tavern, told by warriors and merchants,
you decide to investigate the matter on your own. On the next morning, you stow your
belongings and head towards the Glitterstone Mine. After 2 days of walking you finally
reach the abandoned camp of the mineworkers and you approach carefully, not knowing
what will await you….

Now here's an interesting one. A Journey Into the Underdark makes no illusions about what it's trying to be - an old-school dungeon crawl - but the author tries to keep the thief in us happy by providing a loot requirement. They needn't have bothered, because the execution of their vision is more than engaging enough on its own.

Playing a Thief fan mission that tries to do something different is always at least somewhat exciting, I think. Even though the chance of the attempt ending up not so succesfull is always there, I usually mind that less than playing a technically better mission doing the exact same things every other fan mission has ever done.
