Commerce Bank is the fifth installment of the William Steele series, a long-standing fan favorite among TDM players. The story continues with William hunting down every person involved in the murder of his parents, and this time he heads to steal a cache of secrets kept by Captain Marston of the City Watch, who is deeply connected in this conspiracy. The bank itself is certainly upscale, and seems to have a lot of important clients and has impressive security to match. Luckily for us, an apparent suicide of one of the employees has highlighted a chink in the armor of the place; a window high up that will take us into the library. Once inside, we have to find our way through the bank to get to the safe deposit boxes where the cache is hidden. Luckily, our map tells us we can find an interior map of the bank at the entrance, as the layout can be quite confusing. As we explore the different offices in the bank we get some insight into some internal drama between employees in classic Grayman fashion, though the story is noticeably more sparse than in previous installments, which is partly due to the smaller size of the mission. The use of mansion modules are aesthetically pleasing and used to good effect, but can get slightly repetitive, which adds to a sense of confusion where it's hard to orient yourself at times. I found myself asking if I hadn't already been in places that I hadn't explored yet, but it's not a big negative. I'm also aware that I may be judging the mission more harshly due to how amazing all the previous installments were (WS2 Home Again probably being my favorite mission of all time).
All in all this is a fun and engaging mission, if a bit short, and is a must play if you played the earlier missions and want to follow the adventures of William Steele!
