Banshee was one of the early pioneers of FM design. He left us with two gems that hold up to this day. In "Lord Edmund Entertains", Garrett is gatecrashing into a secret meeting organised by Lord Edmund. He has to figure out how to break into Lord Edmund's Mansion and discover what this meeting is about. This is not a very long mission (you can finish it in about 30 minutes), but it's extremely well done.
The atmosphere of the town makes me think of long autumnal nights. There are stars blinking brightly over Garrett's head and the wind is sweeping through the empty streets. Inside the local tavern, we can find a drunk guard and dim light of the torches illuminating the austere interior. Puffy.wav, my favourite ambient loop, is playing in the background. I could spend an entire hour in this cosy place. The mansion looks pretty good, and in terms of design it looks similar to Ramirez's estate. I enjoyed sneaking past the guards and looking for items that I needed to progress further. The mission includes a considerable amount of interesting readables, which enhanced my gameplay experience. The story becomes more captivating as we come closer to the mission's ending.
All in all, "Lord Edmund Entertains" is a very good fan mission with gorgeous atmosphere and truly pleasant gameplay. I also recommend everyone to play the sequel called "The Vigil".

Oh another ambience enthusiast! Thanks for the insights - thanks to your mention of puffy.wav I even found a reddit post with a youtube video linked to it. I still remember this ambient from my childhood - crazy times! Thanks!
