The setup of Prezent is very simple yet effective: Garrett recieves mysterious offer for a job in small snowy town. But soon after arrival he was robbed and beaten to unconscious state by "dear colleagues" from local thieves' gang. He wakes up in town's tavern and have several tasks including gathering additional information about job from his mysterious employer. He is alone in town full of mystery, dangers and secrets.
The Prezent essentially is not big but densely packed city (mostly) horizontal adventure mission - similar to Kingsbridge or Greyquarter Heist or Seven Sisters. Lots of quests are waiting for our hero here, lots of keys, lots of texts with detailed backstories of local inhabitants. Somebody will say about "audiolog syndrome", and some monologues and texts quickly break infamous 4th wall. But the mission often doesn't take itself too serious and in my opinion here this stuff only adds flavour rather than kills pleasure. The bigger problem is that mission is a) VERY keyhunty and also b) quite empty in lots of places: there are almost no guards except patrols on the streets. Also there are lots of doors with doorknobs which are not frobbable. One of mandatory quests is broken on "hard" difficulty. Finally there's no english translation: the mission is available only in Polish and in Russian.
There's explanation for those issues: the mission is clearly not complete, and feels more like beta-version rather than finished game. It really feels like the author planned bigger adventure divided into several parts not unlike what Lady Rowena did with Seven Sisters or what Yandros did with Death's Cold Embrace. But possibly due to IRL issues he left his last work. Which is very sad since the mission overall is quite good even despite issues I had written about. I only hope he will return and finish this (possibly) good to excellent mission. And it would be real Prezent to community.
And by now I cannot give this mission any rating.

It's really unfortunate that this one was never finished. I remember having great fun coming up with cinematics for this one. IIRC, English translation was actually underway.

Didn't know you were involved! It is good work even being unfinished. I like his previous mission - Relic (another city horizontal adventure) - and this one feels like Relic squared. Hope some day author will return to this and v2 would see the light of the day...
