Down in the Old Vault is a bank heist mission, but the job won't be as easy as a simple break-in as you need to do some prep work first. You start by stealing the codes to disable the alarm, then vault access keys themselves and, finally, deposit box keys. If that sounds like hauling around a lot of keys -- then because it is, so the mission does the cool thing of putting them all on one keychain and, to help you keep track of which important keys you've collected, puts notes on them in your notebook.
To collect on those objectives, you'll get to explore a bank district of decent size, and that's where, unfortunately, presentation falls short. None of the chaotic atmosphere of the City where old buildings lump together in a seemingly random fashion, almost like they are being born out of the crooked ground, is available here. The streets are straight, buildings are put on a map in an almost perfect parallel to each other, they are the same height, with the same flat vertical walls and straight angles. And as you start exploring, and go through an estate to a mansion, and climb from one house to another through bridge-like arches that connect them, it is not unoften to get lost as everything is the same flat-looking, sparsely decorated building.
