The first part w city streets and some interiors is relatively unimpressive in terms of layout and architecture (flat plain buildings, relatively crude and empty environments, so-so voice acting) although gameplay is okish (a murder plot that sees you incriminated, and then you take revenge on the perpetrators (a band of thugs that run the local hotel establishment) by going after their heist plan) and would grant slightly above average ratings at best BUT THEN you come to the second part and one of the biggest and grandest Cathedrals in the world of Thief* - the cathedral alone with its ambient sound loops/chants and routes, sermons and activities of priests and acolytes that are fun to track is absolutely fantastic & a must see (sadly it takes you upwards of an hour of gameplay to get there). Also have you ever wondered why all Hammers look like clones in the original games? Well not here, this FM (as well as other Hammer-themed missions from the author, notably the "trilogy" of similarly laid out works beginning with Escape from Hammerhill and through his Tower of St. Moria and Hammered) uses for the Order of the Hammer lots of character models, outfits and notably specific voice actors and lines that give Hammers an atmospheric oomph. The Cathedral interior heartily recommended as ambient background for the musically-inclined lovers of Thief, in the same vein as some parts of Nosferatu.
(*Though the one in Keeper of the Prophecies is to beat and the one in Seven Shades of Mercury is a hard contender and I suspect there are several other missions with grand cathedrals as well)
