Child of Karras (Johannes Berthold) ported the South Quarter part from TDS and both Haplo and Brethren used it as a base for their missions for the Thief Reloaded Contest 2.
There are few changes from the Child of Karras version , puzzles for main objectives thankfully can be easily solved , those for optional objectives are point and click adventure game type of obscure (to get a locket out of a wax mold you have to find an empty bucket , place it on a stool in a tiny side area and smash a pipe above the bucket to get hot water to pour into the bucket :@). Most secrets in the mission are a chore to find as they are mostly loot placed on hard to reach ledges.
The story is nothing special.
There is just the right amount of enemies to keep you on your toes.
If you want to experience the South Quarter from TDS play "Bad Hangover" - Brethren's mission (and deserved winner of the Reloaded contest) it is vastly better than this.
Skip this mission.
