This FM is the longest I have played since I started playing all these old FMs. It's still very short, but manages to overstay it's welcome despite this.
You are robbing lord bafford (I hope you like robbing the guy. He turns up a lot). Bafford is of course, in a weird house, however this one does make a few strides forward in architecture. For example, Baffords basement is now reached through a physics defying piece of modern art.
While the mission is fully working, even containing a secret passage, working doors, and a few rooms which are not cube or cuboids, something weird is up with the floor. I get these strange stutters as I explore, I have seen similar things in dromed before from building off grid which eventually led to me falling through the floor. here it never gets that bad, and seem to be a purely visual issue.
This mission also contains an array of readables, telling a mostly consistant, but very simple, plot. (consistant with itself I mean, the lore implications for the games as a whole are best ignored)
Gameplay is poor, the corridors don't really allow for real stealth, and the map felt a little over-stuffed with AI. The final room contains 2 guards in a marble floored room, staring at the objective. So ghosting is probably out of the question.
All in all, a very basic effort, from a simpler time. Interesting from a historical point of view. I would never recommend playing it.
