This mission is amazing. It is the perfect combination of murder and robbery that thief is renouned for. with a plot that will make you cry, and think.

Mostly it made me think: Why am I still playing thief at 25 years old? Why am I here? Why am I insisting on playing every mission since 1999?

This mission made me rethink my time playing thief. If you play this, it might be the last time you ever touch this game.


For those who want a more serious review: This mission is a set of combats with various guards. No stealth, no avoiding the combats, oh and you have to kill the final guard to finish the mission. It's bad. It's really really bad. At least it's short though.

The world just wasn't ready for Seb's legendary brainchild.

Also, the mission objectives are reversed. You get a tick for the scepter objective by killing the guard and the guard objective for getting the scepter. Deceptive indeed.
