Ok, so being real for a second: I don't like city missions. Even modern ones. Cities are large, often lack loot, and it doesn't make much sense that every time Garrett leaves the house there is a curfew going on.
This mission avoids that second issue, and is small enough, that the first isn't a problem either. In fact, this mission is more of a mansion and Hammerite mission, with a pretty interesting twist near the end.
Unfortunately, while it's cool, it still feels very weak overall. This mission is mostly forgotten, and it seems the cutscene near the end requires the player to interrupt it somewhat in order to actually be able to finish the mission (When you meet 'him', don't let the door close) This might be a newdark issue.
By modern standards, this mission is pretty average. However seeing an NPC talk to the player in such an old mission, and interact beyond trying to kill them, is honestly amazing.
