When a mission has no screenshots, and (at the time of playing) no download link, I usually brace myself for some pain. Those are usually forgotten for good reason.
Not this one. This mission is actually pretty decent. It's short, and very buggy, but it does what it sets out to do, and does it competently.
You have arrived at an island... thing, via hot air balloon, It's now up to you to decend into it, steal something of value, kill someone, and generally shut down the hammerite secret police. A pretty great premise, which is executed fairly well.
Visually, this is above average for the time, about average now. It looks fine. Some of the lower rooms are a bit boxy, but it's all tolerable.
Gameplay is also above average for the time, with stealth fully viable, and encoraged.
The main things dragging it down are the bugs, including the "Normal difficulty only" issue, (last seen in living city), Thankfully, unlike living city, this one doesn't pretend otherwise, and even mentions it in the readme. Unfortunately, there are also AI issues, and general bits of weirdness with how the AI interacts with their alarm buttons.
Still, this is an old FM, that really is better than I could possibly have expected, and I am very relieved that, for once, I felt glad to have dug it out of the internets depths, rather than horrifed.
