This mission is very much a dark and stormy night kind of game where you must outwit and evade the people who tried to kill you, then slowly gather your resources and explore the strange woods you are lost in. There's a creepy temple with a nearly invisible demon-ghost-thing that will utterly wreck your ****.
There's a gang of thieves you need to rob from, get your lockpicks back, take everything they've taken including things you've already taken, and then disappear into the damp night once again.
It's genuinely tense, and you have to really watch your resources as you get very little in the way of supplies. No fancy gas arrows here, my friends. You do things the hard way or not at all. It can be a little tricky, but the innovation shown in some aspects of the level keep it lively, like the weird lycanthrope or the machine that can apparently make anything, and if you are patient and have picked enough flowers, you can manufacture yourself an arsenal... pretty much right after the point you really needed it.
But all in all, I really liked it. Once you get the lay of the land, so to speak, it gets easier and you spend less time running in circles. But it's really a very minor complaint on a very nicely done atmospheric mission that never feels like a busy-work key hunt. Job well done!
