It's kind of mind-blowing to me that this mission is from 2006. Playing it 17 years after the fact, its design still holds up really well, both visually and mechanically. As per the title, this doesn't really feel like a Thief mission, but I also happen to be a diehard for the old Tomb Raider games and this mission, at times, nails the adventuring and puzzle solving aspects better than even that series did!
If I had any complaints, it's that the platforming gets a little fiddly, to the point its unintuitive near the end of the mission... and there's a tile sliding puzzle that I dare say will turn a lot of people off. I would've been one of those people if the mission hadn't made such a strong first impression.
