It would be an injustice for me to say o'ermuch or to cast too many expectations to the newcomer. I'll be brief.
Suffice to say that The Scarlet Cascabel will turn your assumptions about what an FM can be on their side.

The first mission does not overpromise, but delivers a classic experience that does not turn the authors hand.
It sticks a little too close to convention to truly impress, but it will give you a taste and an inauguration into the thinking of the author.

The second mission burnishes that bright gleam to a beautiful shine not easily ignored, nor quickly tarnished

Now - the reason it does not score a perfect 10:
My only complaint in all of this is that DromEd lends itself to a specific type of experience, and that some food can occasionally bear the taste of the canning in which is it contained. You'll understand later.
