The missions starts of on a good note since it looks really beautiful and has an extremely varied and big city to explore. It's a bit flat and not very vertical but still a pretty mission with lots to discover.
Interestingly I found the exterior areas to be much better realised than the interiors. Apartments and the big mansion for example are rather bland. There's even a readable in the mansion joking about every room looking the same. Most rooms also don't have a function or feel like they belong there so it's hard to really get immersed properly.
This would still be a 7/10 mission if not for the staggeringly high loot goals and loot placement EVERYWHERE. It's 8000 on hard and Garrett would need an actual truck to cart all those goblets and vases home. Checking every room for that one golden candlestick or sometimes nothing gets annoying really fast. Also: There's just too many rooms overall. In addition to that there's a ton of AI walking about. Every room, every hallway has a patroling or stationary guard. Often these guards are facing away from you, so why bother adding them in the first place?
Sadly there's very few and very short readables everywhere so the story is basically non existent.
To me the AI placement and some of the interior design seem rushed and could have used more work.
In contrast to that the church of the Hammerites looks really nice from the outside and inside so the sparseness and blandness of some interior areas doesn't concern every interior in the FM.
The mission is far too ambitous and big to engage a player throughout it's runtime but still looks good overall. If you are in the mood for a good looking but a bit dumbed down mission gameplay wise then give it a go.
