An enjoyable enough mission--sort of like a B-movie of fan missions. In fact, it's funny that I should write that, because this is in large part based on a movie, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. You get to experience many of the traps found in Indiana Jones movies, and there is a fun daytime atmosphere reminding me both of the Crusades and of the adventurous H. Rider Haggard-like stories and movies (such as Indiana Jones). I really liked exploring the Mediterranean/Arabian cliffs, and I wish more fan missions would include traversal of jagged outcroppings at perilous heights.
The guard AI was surprisingly challenging. They move very randomly, switching unexpectedly. This caught me off guard when I reloaded a save in the mines. I don't think I've ever seen such behavior in other FMs.
Unfortunately, the geometry is very primitive and there are some questionable layout/decoration decisions; and the mission is surprisingly linear towards the end. That is, once I picked up the relic, I was forced to escape through an exit, after which I could not return to the rest of the level. No problem: I was satisfied with quitting there.
