There's not really a lot to say with A Noble Death. That's almost definitely due to FM creation being such a new thing at the time, but the mission itself is straightforward, competent, and (most importantly) actually finished.
The architecture is fairly basic. The whole level is basically a small rectangle inside of a larger rectangle, but the street has some small details that hint toward actually making something more complex in the future, with its big street arch and single guard checkpoint booth. It even has some alternate paths, although I'm not really sure if that was intentional in 1999 or a result of NewMantle. The inside of the townhouse is fairly well designed as well, outside of the long tile hallways that seem to permeate every early FM so far.
All in all, A Noble Death is a perfectly serviceable mission, especially for its age.
