As another early FM, Poor Lord Bafford is solid. Perfectly serviceable, with the context in mind that making FMs was still a new concept.
The mission is simple: go in, steal more of Bafford's stuff, leave. Loot is pretty fair, especially since a good chunk of it is in a single room. Unfortunately, you can kiss ghosting goodbye since that room is also made with a marble floor, is well lit, and is inhabited by two guards staring directly at the pile of money.
There's nothing really to say about the outside since its just some dirt and stone with two guards. The interior of the country mansion is a little odd and kind of sparse in places, but those were just growing pains I think. I also think this is one of the first FMs to have a map (although its kind of useless since its only for the exterior, which again, is some dirt and stone with two guards and a side door).
Still, Poor Lord Bafford is a neat look into the past, from before the classic missions that were created later on down the line.
(As an aside, I do like the early trend of nameplates with copyright credits on them. It's cute. We need to bring that back.)
