I played this only recently and yes I did finish it. This is sort of the smaller sister of Calendra's Legacy. One of the first FMs that took a whole team to complete. And it shows. It contains some of the most hilarious dialog I've heard and plot twists that will twist you head. A lot of scripting went into this one. Still, I can't rate it honestly more than 7 because I would have to rate things like The Dark Parade at 12. Perhaps I don't hold a nostalgic sympathy for this like I do for T2X. Some of the areas are way too empty - of life and details. Some interiors feel needlessly large. But these are small things compared to the originality of the mission. The story and encounters are what steals the show.

What stops you from rating Calendra's Cistern as if you were reviewing it with 2000 standards in your mind (and not as a modern player)?

Thank you for your comments! Rating something is a very subjective thing. Playing this in say 2001 I'd probably give it at least a 9 as there was nothing quite like it then. But then how can we distinguish between things? My rating wont damage this classical masterpiece.
