So much has been said, that I'd like to be brief. Have you had a night mission turn into day, or an entity reacting only if you turn your back, or a guard patrolling with a dog? I haven't. I can't even believe I finished it. It took me almost 24 hours of exploring, restarting and plain being lost even with tips from the forums to complete these 10 missions.
This campaign was developed by a not so small team of long time contributors, be it of FMs or YouTube videos. The overall feeling is that even after they finished the campaign, someone came back trough all areas and said "how can we make this even better". It fits very neatly into the lore of all 3 games. There are a lot of single use entities, some are unexpected cameos from other games. The ambience of some missions is the greatest I have heard, but playing this for a while it's clear gameplay was the focus. The campaign is linear as expected, but the missions are far from it. So many plot twists. And it's not easy by any means. T2X holds the top place in my subjective heart, but this one is probably peak thief.
