the city is huge but easy to explore, around the city there is a fast-flowing river, several hidden areas can be reached via the river. for amateur Thief players, the river is useful for drowning foes who knocked out by blackjack, it's really fun playing this Fan mission. the downside is that the Hammerite crypts aren't scary and challenging.
