Having played some of the more "heavyweight" missions before, both in terms of size and quality, this felt a bit basic compared. There are no big surprises, or something which hasn't been done before (apart from the minigolf game, nice touch ;)), but, sometimes, there doesn't have to be something special, just some solid mansion and crypt looting stuff.
The architecture of the mansion and the crypt was well thought out, and, I especially liked that you are able to practically view the whole island from your starting point, which always is a nice thing, thinking "I can go everywhere I see". Some of the rooms lacked a bit of detail, and appeared a bit empty. Nice texture choice and work though, it all looked good and coherent.
The difficulty was unfortunately a bit less coherent. The first part is too easy. especially considering you can snatch the master key so early, AND turn off the light in the whole mansion, which makes it even more easy. The second part on the other hand, after you finish the main objective, was pretty hard all of a sudden. It would have been better to make the difficuly more balanced, probably somewhere in the middle.
The story was good, although some of the readable felt rushed, and, frankly, not so well written or authentic. There could have been more "character" and more contemporary writing in them, and, it also felt a bit strange that pirates are so well versed in writing.
So, yeah, absolutely solid mission, hope to see some more missions from the author in the future, maybe addressing some of the issues I mentioned.
