This mission was made in 72 hours, which is really impressive. That said, I prefer to compare missions as they are, because my enjoyment of the atmosphere, stealth, level design and the story are central to these reviews, not the circumstances under which a mission was made.
Although I found this mission to become a little repetitive near the end, there was just enough variety spread throughout to keep me hooked. Besides, the level design, though blending together at points, is complex. This allows you to enter areas from multiple routes, which is always a plus. Apparently, this is supposed to be a "short" mission. The stats screen showed me that I took 1 hour and 40 minutes to beat this mission (that's without counting reloads).
I tried my best to uncover everything this mission had to offer, but I'm sure I still missed something (I looked up a video right after finishing, and it seems there's a way to get closer to the snoring sound). The most enjoyable part about exploring this level, in my eyes, was that the atmosphere/soundscape urges you to do so. Even though there isn't always a payoff, creepy corners on their own make you ponder the lore behind them. The story/readables succeed in making the rogues look intimidating and threatening, even a little scary.
Personally, I found the areas to look a bit too similar to each other, and lacking in detail. The visuals were nice, but the Pit itself felt a little empty, its many, maze-like hallways often lacking purpose and context. This hampered the gameplay experience a little. Still, this mission is worth playing if you enjoy pitting Garrett against a bunch of other thieves, and the many ways you can traverse the map has a very appealing side to it. The fact that this mission, being made in 72 hours, can stand alongside great fan missions without much issue makes it all the more impressive.
