This mission has it all: getting stuck in random bits of terrain, a huge underwater maze (combined with getting stuck in random bits of terrain), random ledges that, upon exiting a well or whatever, alert guards for free. A janky (albeit a nice idea) elevator which you have to activate by shooting a button (only works half of the time). Dead ends without anything in them, following long stretches of walking. Jumping in water, only to find out you just died because the water is too shallow (which is either incredibly hard, or impossible to see from above). Guard getting stuck in a ceiling, teleporting around.
I quit when I entered the mansion (which didn't check the "enter the mansion" objective for whatever reason). I guess I could applaud the idea, and as a newcomer to FMs, I might not have a huge grasp on what was considered high quality back in 2015. It's just that the execution is so obviously and constantly poor, in such a small amount of time/level, I can in no way recommend this mission. I could mention linearity, or how the areas seem like they serve no purpose whatsoever, but that's minor compared to the jank.
I decided not to give an overall score, for I haven't finished the campaign. I wish it was easier to write reviews on single missions within a campaign, for I can't properly judge the other three missions.
