Stealth is pretty easy in the Haunted Cathedral. The challenge is in finding the things you need to have, more than ever before. In the meantime, all sorts of monsters walk around. These monsters (especially zombies) are easy to get past on their own. The problem is, there's a lot of them. While trying to fulfill your objectives, you may just run straight into them if you aren't careful. This will cost you. Luckily, there are tools available to deal with these threats.
The atmosphere of this level is oppressive. You never feel at ease, for monsters can pop up anywhere, and there are a lot of different types to keep you guessing. This portion of the City feels close to a post-apocalyptic setting. Ruins are everywhere, objects (including loot) are everywhere, monsters are everywhere.
There are two "mini dungeons" scattered around the Sealed Section. The "Keeper's Chapel" and the "Torc Manor". Both are enjoyable. One contains a bunch of cool traps and very interesting lore. The other is occupied by two highly intimidating enemies...
Speaking of lore, this mission establishes some important story bits. It sets up Garrett's objectives in the upcoming four missions, and it introduces the player to the catastrophe that caused this section of the City to be sealed. What exactly caused this catastrophe is left up to us, which makes it all the more mysterious...
