Briefing

After most of my gear got snatched during a Watch raid... I've been forced to hit the streets and lower myself by picking pockets to survive. But my luck was about to change. Last night I was approached by a hooded individual with a proposition: The Builders of St. Alban's Cathedral in the Old Quarter had recently unearthed a discovery that he wanted me to recover.

The job sounded too risky, but the sound of gold coins clinking together caught my attention... The bag he set on the table held enough for me to live comfortably for the next 2 months... As it turned out he was a member of the Hermetic Order, and it seemed that what this mage was after was not gold or artifacts, but the skeletal remains of some saint...

If I can lay claim to St. Alban's bones, my 'new employer' wishes that I frame the heist on a visiting inventors guild diplomat who's currently staying in the cathedral. The Builders are already overly suspicious of the inventors guild, so I've been given a fake skull to plant in his room. The rest should take care of itself.

My escape route takes me back via the sewers, south towards the bay and smugglers cove. The local thieves guild 'the Redhands' operates here, so I've arranged for a boat to ferry myself out... But before I can start this job, I'll need to visit the local Watch station to reclaim the rest of my gear from the evidence room...
