The game _WILL_ crash if you are standing on a lift and touching a rope or vine at the same time. To avoid this bug, DO NOT STICK ANY ROPE IN THE PATH OF A LIFT. Or do it anyway, but don't be surprised when Thief crashes.

Most of the items in this mission are an "infinite" supply. Which means you can easily collect a large number of objects into a single spot. First, the game will get very slow. Then objects will start disappearing. Finally, the game will crash. You have been warned.

There are two bugs at the top of the lift. The first is a strange phenomenon where the game will freeze for a second before you step onto the lift. I don't know what causes this, but it seems to do no harm. The other is that when descending the lift, there is a spot where the size of the room combined with the number of objects
visible makes a few objects disappear (including the lift you're standing on!). Don't freak out, it's just a momentary thing until you move out of the hot-spot. If this bothers you, look in some direction where you're not trying to see the entire room at once; like a wall.

The "holy relic" is not counted as one of the items that needs to be collected in Azal-mode. It should be. I'm too lazy to fix it.

It _IS_ possible to swim through the water tunnel, but you will have to dive in, not just drop in from ground-level. On Luthien and Azal modes, you will inevitably take some damage, but should be able to come out with 3-5 hit points remaining. That's okay, there's healing potions on the other side. There's also speed and breath potions there, but very well hidden. Think sideways, do weird things you wouldn't imagine being of any usefulness, and read the hints. But if you find getting through the tunnel impossible in the first place, there is a single speed potion available in the Tower.
