Loveee this this FM, really. This mission has a special place in my heart. I have never seen such a way of narration, although it is really a very high-quality way to tell a story by connecting REAL historical characters and at the same time adding a little fantasy. Why did I write about the series of the 90s? It reminds me of the fairy tale world of the old TV show like Merlin in some moments it's childis naive sometimes you sometimes you really empathize character. And also like the fact that for Bathory and Katalin they did personal voice acting,
But like other but like other complex missions made by fans they have one very bad feature - sometimes they are not intuitive. Sometimes I had to watch YouTube to understand what to do next or I missed something and when I watch the walkthrough I understand that I would never have guessed to do something/find it ( keys for guests room, a chest for pastor) on my own. But it was not so often maybe 4 times, comapred to , for example, King's story( https://www.thiefguild.com/fanmissions/1745/kings-story) when in the middle of the walkthrough I lost touch with reality and every next step I had to watch on YouTube . Like King's Story , Bathory feels great because of the Atmposhere , there is something exciting about the fact that the historical figures are all real as well as the events in which the action takes place.
But when I started to rate each mission I was a little confused. Actually, as it turned out, then I started to recall these missions, they are quite long to play and exhausted( but I have the same feeling for all giant thief mission) , and I can't really say that they are masterpieces, maybe 7-8/10 , but for some reason durning the game it doesn't really bother you and these missions felt fantastic.
