I really like how the mission beggins and anxiety gradually increases. The main fear is the fear of the unknown and at the start this FM do it great. But lots of backtracking, absoluuuutely mad keyhunt, broken areas in the roofs , where player really should not be make this mission frustrating at the end. And also no map at least of the town ...

Loveee this this FM, really. This mission has a special place in my heart. I have never seen such a way of narration, although it is really a very high-quality way to tell a story by connecting REAL historical characters and at the same time adding a little fantasy. Guys, why is this mission rated above average and there is absolutely nothing at the same time?

Great start of the mission, atmospheric and immersive mission. You seem to be in a trance, no one is rushing to do something,ambient fits perfect it completes the picture that this place is stuck in time.,. and all these advantages disappear when you have to find that small ass key at the beginning of the mission.


A little hint if you dont...

I dont know maybe the problem is with my blindness but whats the point of creating the mission with so much of hidden levers and spots. Seriously, it's not even a puzzle to find the lever on the window frame to progress mission. And also not so obvious moments, for example go back to the alchemy, nothing really tells us to go back here and find ...

I like the ideas behind small maps , that gives you non-annoying gameplay , respect your personal time and don't force you to explore giant locations.

This story line is full of twists and turns. it's like Shakespeare's poetry...
We killed all the guards but at what cost...what cost... this story is an allusion to the modern world where we because of money (in this case, Lord Buford's scepter) we are ready for anything,,,...,.,..,........

Definitely one of the most well written and mystical FM.
I always find music/ambient the most important component in FM and for genres like horror its especially important. Undulating terrain by Robert Rich fits absolutely perfectl here. It feels like it will be the endless night and the sun never rose in this place.

Unique FM which gives you non-annoying gameplay, quests is very simple but it's not boring at all and you feel kinda refreshed ,gameplay is really meditative and enjoyable.
Especially love music, it reminds me Treasure Planet game from PS1 ;)
