NOTES: Notes: this is the prologue to a much larger mission I have planned, where Garrett actually robs the hotel. If you're interested in it, let me know, it'll help me get started.
The cottage in the mission is actually based on the log house I grew up in. The polycounts get extremely high during 3/4 views, up to 800 from one viewpoint. This won't crash the game, but it might strain a slow video card.

Briefing

Garrett has been pulled out of retirement after a young woman, Elana, rescues him from a failed assassination attempt by the last remaining band of Mechanists. In return, she wants him to attempt a job previous thieves have failed, which involves robbing the prestigious Firwood Valley Hotel.
As he was working as a fence to survive, he pawned his thieving equipment. Before he can rob the hotel, he needs some basic equipment. There happens to be a weapon smith who has a summer cottage in Firwood Valley, Lord Baker. HeE runs the business out of his basement, and it seems like the easiest way to get tools. A slide had occured at the main valley entrance, but Elana was able to get Garrett in another way. The inhabitants of the summer cottage are still trapped there, so Garrett has a wide choice of keys to use to get inside. Once inside, all he needs to do is get into the shop, find some equipment, and get out.
