Once upon a time in the city,
Once upon a time in the past,
The Master of Death was
Awakened by mysterious origins
Eating our flesh,
Drinking our souls,
Destroying what was built,
Raising our fathers to kill their own sons...
But with a last hope,
Some survivors fought...
Joining their arms,
Banned the evil army...
As for the Evil Master,
Thrown into a glass jar,
Forever screaming in his prison,
Waiting for his destruction...
But with the passing of time,
Because of the restoration,
Today, people live and die,
And forget his name forever...

"It was a dark night as the other, no noises but some citizens walking in the street on business or out for a drink. Nobles in parties, and City Watch patrolling. But something was different in the black streets. A guard named Bredon was dismissed yesterday because of an important discovery in the manor where he worked, the Stronghold Alienors. All the fences know the stories of an object called the "Shining Strangeness" that a man named Galmont, the last knight of the Order of Bright-Blade, has hidden somewhere in the manor. Nothing is known of this object but that it is priceless. It seems that Bredon had discovered a kind of vault somewhere in the mansion.
This has awakened curiosity and several thieves, having suspected the existence of such a room, want to find it because nobody has made the attempt in the past and because it is a small place with few guards. A terrible rush was made on the fences in the city, every thief trying to get a contract, independent - like me - or in a gang, such as my dear friends... the Downwinders.
I simply can't let them get there before me, therefore I have contacted Bredon to get some information. He was drunk when have found the vault and thinks it was in the basement, but he can't remember how to open it. However, he gave me a map with directions on it. That could be useful. I'll enter the stronghold by a hole on the roof because Bredon said that the main entrance is guarded, locked, unpickable and unbreakable. It will lead to the attic, an unguarded place.
No time to waste! Some thieves are surely en-route to steal the "Shining Strangeness", and I don't to be there when the city watch scours the quarter to find them. It's time to go. As for a fence, I'm sure that I'll find somebody to buy the treasure."
