What an interesting way to compare ratings. Good work chilling!
I think you're doing the mission a disservice by panning it without trying harder (it's not harder than lots of others - it just comes to my mind for example that the beginning of The Lost City is practically identical, overall number of initial spiders there = 10) or using specific in-built features that are common sense - like running from some enemies or using spaces that are impossible to enter for human NPCs (admittedly a feature I can't recall from anywhere else but apparently a delibe...
Good catch Aemanyl, that definitely makes more sense. I've added you both to the list!
Also, I've pushed out another large update! It enables you to filter by mission genres and allows you to click on a mission to see the rating distribution.
Because that second feature might be a bit hidden, I've also added a little ( ? ) button to the top, where I'll add some tips and tricks. Of course I'll try to keep everything intuitive, but I haven't found a way to indicate that missions are now ...
You're making it sound like adding users is taking time away from developing new features, but it only takes around 20 seconds to add a new user, so keep those requests coming :P
Yeah, filtering the underlying data by games is a good idea; I was planning on implementing it way earlier but I kind of got sidetracked with adding new charts and making the whole thing a bit fancier. But that'll be the next thing I'm going to add! Thanks for the suggestion, I'd love to hear more of them because ...
At some stage when you're not fielding all the "Add me! Add me!" requests, it might be interesting to be able to further filter the data by game. For instance, comparing my ratings with Morente's it *looks* like I give higher ratings to T1/T2 missions than they do, and they seem to rate T3 missions a bit higher than me. It'd be interesting to get a better look at that data.
Sure, no problem, I've added you. Though I see you've given my favorite missions some rather low ratings, so I'd be sure to double-check the locks of my doors come nightfall if I were you... >:)
And I've also pushed out a couple of new features I've been working on :> I'm glad this little project is turning into something quite interesting and entertaining for my fellow taffers!
this is such a neat visualization! If you're able to add me that would be great :^)
