Einweisung

Last night, Cutty asked me to find Harren, one of his informants who recently disappeared into the Sealed Quarter. He used to work for a group of thieves who operate at the South border of the Wall. He was there to gather information about various guilds and irregular activities in town, and he might have found something too dangerous to handle.

However, a few days earlier he told Cutty about Medwick Tower, a collapsed building in Lower Hilrem which uncovered ancient catacombs in its fall, and he seemed rather obsessed with the Right Arm of St Lucard supposedly hidden down there. If I didn't know Cutty better, I'd say he's more interested in this holy artefact rather than the well being of Harren...

This district of the City was deserted years ago, walled off after an infamous mass in a Cathedral. Lower Hilrem is located far enough from it, at the South West corner of the Sealed Quarter. I've only heard wild tales about the place and what happened half a century ago. This is a great opportunity to confirm the truth out of these rumors, and to find valuable goods people left behind.

An associate of mine found an old map of the district for me, probably not accurate anymore but that will do. I'll have to find my way in through the Wall following Cutty's directions, and make my way through the ruins to the North. If Harren is still alive, and the relic is real, I'll find both of them near Medwick Tower.

I can't deny the craftsmanship that went into this FM. The city is well made, along with a fantastic map, and it is a great romp throughout. Subjectively, I'm a wet blanket when it comes to undead missions. Although in a lot of cases, undead missions should be better to me because there is no restriction on killing undead so it should be easier ...

As the title suggests, I'm not a fan of horror missions. Or undead missions. Or really any mission that makes my trusty blackjack utterly worthless, removing my ability to knock out every guard in the building and then skip gayly around completing the objectives.

So, when I finally forced myself to return to this mission for the 20th Annivers...

very nice FM, the atmosphere is great and there are always multiple paths to explore. the idle chat of guards was great and all the notes and books were fun to read. there are some genuinely great hiding places for loot. i was off for about 1000 gold in total. the whole FM was relatively smooth except for one part, and that is more of my problem...

Zdecydowanie bardziej mi się podobała od zwycięskiej i to pomimo, że również miał swoje poważne wady.

Tym razem zamiast quasi miejskiej misji i potem ogromnej posiadłości dostajemy misję "The Haunted Cathedral", ale zrobioną na sterydach i przy użyciu całego arsenału doświadczeń dromedowców. Oprócz tak oczywistych rzeczy jak całkiem fajne zom...
