Idea was to make a more flexible map than the normal Thief
levels. Whole level is a single building that you can get
in various ways. Its up to you to decide how and from where
you go in.

Text differs from the one in the briefing.

Known bugs : -When someone bangs the gong, guards might get stuck in the
cellar.
-Assassinating Cedric on "normal", makes the mission
impossible.
-Some doors don't work always.
-Sheam sometimes doesn't turn to face the player when she speeks.

Other info : Just remember, everything that glitters is not gold, and
even if can't see a ladder, it doesn't mean you can't
climb it.

Also note that normal Thief Levels have max of 300-400
polgons simultaneously on screen, this level has a place
where there are over 800 polygons visible, so the system
requirements are higher than normal. High-poly-areas are
not essential, just scenery, so it does not effect the
gameplay itself.

Briefing

If you have followed my instructions, by the time you read this, you should be well
on your way to the Grieving Burrick Inn. Remember when that Thief Garrett stole the
scepter of fat Lord Bafford? Well I have a place for it in my circle, and I need you
to go get it for me.
Garrett peddled it off and it eventually came to the possession of a nobody merchant.
Now, there is going to be some type of scepter convension tomorrow. Some of the
attendees will be staying at the inn tonight. The man who has the Bafford stick will
be there. Grab it, and couple of other scepters to throw everyone off to your true
objective.
You might want to take a souvenier or to two for yourself while you are in there -
just remember the Bafford's scepter is mine. When you have the stick, meet the
courier by the fountain, he'll take it the rest of the way to me.

Oh, one last thing. Killing the power should make things easier, that is, if you like
things easy. I know it's been a while since you've done anything new, so good luck.

Actually quite fun.

Played on impossible. You can't kill or knock-out anyone, so the mission turns into cat and mouse chases against guards. Thankfully, there are keys to lock them away and various routes to get in and out of the bar. It's a small map, but ,thanks to a great layout, you can experiment a lot. +Very interesting routes. There's a very clever hidden route involving a barrel near the start and some rooftopping to go straight to 2nd floor treasure display, you never see people use barrels, I can say again that route impressed me. Trimfect (or Toni), the author of this mission, has shared parts of the story. I'm reading from TTLG forums. This is the mission that gave LGS consideration to release DromEd and give us 25 years of FMs. It took him roughly 2 months to create this, because back then even TLG people didn't know how to do everything. Short and Sweet "First" FM

Pros:
- Multiple pathways to choose
- Attention to detail (place of loot, toilets)
- Good story, humorous writings

Cons:
- The AI's sometimes strange behavior (running guards on patrol)
- The City area is not so well aligned
