When I got around to playing this, I had already gone through a period of brainmelting in the missions prior to this that was so bad I almost said, "This mission is scuffed, I'm skipping it." I'm not gonna really harp on the quality of this mission since signs point to it being a newbie messing around in Dromed, but this is basically the exact same structure as Deceptive Sceptre, all the way down to the wrong objective ticking off when you complete it.

I usually try to give older missions some sorta benefit of doubt, with the context that authors making literally anything in Dromed is cool as hell and that it was probably decent for the time when it came out. I really can't see that being the case here.

I'm not gonna sit here and try to wax poetic about a fan mission made by a wrestling fan from the 90s, but I have to say that "There's an old 'friend' of yours waiting in the ring, layeth the smack down on his candy ass!" is an incredibly funny objective to read in a Thief game.

I feel like I got pranked.

Like, this mission is not very good. I can't tell if navigating the city was supposed to be more difficult or if was just meant to simply give off the impression of a labyrinth. The house (?) that you end up robbing is a big, bizarre, and ugly mess.

But... I think that's the point?

I didn't really like this mission.

I think the idea is cool, having AI fight each other, hunting for gear, having some sort of high-tension escape. The problem lies in the lack of polish and overall general feeling of someone who knows what they WANT to do, but not being 100% sure how to achieve it.
