What stops you from rating Calendra's Cistern as if you were reviewing it with 2000 standards in your mind (and not as a modern player)?

Not trying to argue with you in any way, but there is actually a fair explanation of why several guards are no-KO.

The reason is that normal guards have their necks exposed, while no-KO guards have their necks covered with metal helmet.

During gameplay, we cannot see that in simplified animations, but Garrett is supposed to knock them out with the neck or lower head hit, and not hitting directly onto the metal helmet.

Thought this could be a nice fun fac...

The chapel can be sneaked by, but with the use of water arrows

Emotions of course are perfectly normal but only acceptable in a rating if considering a mission as a whole, which again brings me back to what maybe should be considered a rule/encouraged guideline: Only rate a mission once you completed it.

Nothing is perfect. So are the fan missions.

Don't get frustrated about lower ratings too easily.

Feel free to be frustrated when you cannot find this specific item hidden in the least obvious place.

Rating will reflect not only analysis but also experience (or emotions).

FM authors are not professional (in most cases) and such imperfections are natural thing to happen.

Erm you still playing/haven't finished it but already rated it?

The rating logic of some reviewers evades me.

And this is how we continue to get 1 or 3 star ratings for objectively good (and even some of the best) missions that clearly don't deserve it.
