The Sunken Library is far from innovative, but still a decent medium-sized mission to play. Good use of stock sounds and textures to create the fitting atmsophere. A library is also nice for a change, not the first mission with that but there aren´t too many others, and a nice change from the usual tombs, mansions and city stuff. At first I had...

I finished this mission in about 75 minutes. Got 2700 out of the 4000 or so loot. If you like abandoned castles and haunts and crab men, this mission is for you. First I noticed the amazing libraries and books from floor to ceiling, everywhere. This aspect was gorgeous. The map layout was pretty good, well sized, plenty of verticality, decently ...

Not every bank mission has to so big. While this is a very small one, who says every bank must be a whole palace. This mission has some nice atmosphere and soundtrack. Not very challenging with only a handful of hostiles, a hidden secret can be found. So, would recommend it.
To be honest, this mission is really lackluster, even for its age. It´s short and not really well designed. Issue is, you are likely to run into the house of the antagonist here without even knowing you should be there, because your informant is located farther away. So, if you get to him, you know the things he will tell you already. It does...
Smaller missions can have their appeal. Be it for time constraints or if you just don´t want to explore for some hours."A House Call" however is not really a pleasant mission. The design of the mansion is ok, nothing to say against that. But some of the loot is hidden too well and therefore I ended up with the bare minimum of 751(1 gold piece ...
Nothing special and rather small, did beat it in around 25 minutes on highest difficulty. Robbing a Builder´s place. Good for practicing no KO playstyle as this is an restriction. Considering the age, it´s ok, and I would recommend it.

In overall, very well made mission, but it was very hard to complete all objectives, hence the lower rating.

First and foremost: Insert this file (graciously hosted by the author back in his days)https://www.dropbox.com/s/ph8pa8eyobuh36q/ws3_cleighmoor_map_patch.zip?dl=0into the folder "darkmod\fms\ws3_cleighmoor\maps" before you play to prevent A.I. from committing suicide and having you fail the mission. I got like halfway through before I fo...

Cardia is an interesting author , his architecture ideas are very unique ,but always his missions have that something to REALLY annoy or even piss off the player. These 3 missions are no exception. The first mission drops us into the thick of it - a space ship full of baddies for us to kill.Visuals are amazing, but 90% of the level is combat....
The beginning is quite simple. Starting point is outside of a Hammerite Temple and the temple is quite small from inside. There's a graveyard behind the temple and from there the journey goes underground. There's some puzzles before player gets to Sepulchre itself. I found the puzzles just enough challenging, not too difficult. The real creep...

A classic horror mission that holds up remarkably well 20 years on. Garrett sets off to investigate an abandoned Hammerite factory in the mountains, and what he finds there was so compelling that Ion Storm hired this mission’s author to work on Deadly Shadows. Playing it even now, one can see why: it showcased what a true auteur could do with th...

This is the best I've seen in regards to any kind of Thief-like gameplay. You get a gigantic city district with huge verticality (we're talking 7+ layers of substancial range), entrances on every level to I'd say 20+ locations ("friendly" and "hostile"), friendlies reacting to whether your armed or not, clever parcour sections everywhere, deep l...
Yes, it's a big BIG map, and to me the layout was the best part of this mission, The flow of the town and the intermingling of the castle walls, the factory, and the watery loading docks, I thought was just gorgeous. It reminded me somewhat of super vertical mods such as Ascend the Dim Valley. However, I found myself getting lost often and wande...
This is my short review for A Visit to the Baron, please note that the review contains important spoilers.Pros:+ Beautiful and well-designed outside area. Loved the cemetery and multiple civilian houses I could get into.+ Exploring the catacombs was a sheer pleasure. In my opinion, this is the best section of the mission. The skeleton an...
You knows it's a good MOD when thinking about it away from the game or trying to sleep. This is in 3 parts and it looks fascinating (especially the memorable dream sequence in part 2) and has a unique rocky/jagged landscape, clear objectives, and I think custom assets, It wasn't too long since I got thru it in under 2 hours. I definitely recomme...
Really fun mission, lots of back and forth, lots of vertical spaces, guards everywhere, tons of secrets and hidden passages. Really enjoyed it and was playing it in my head when not in the game.
This mission is huge and has a bit of everything. After nearly 4 hours of play time i was still missing half the secrets and 2000 in loot so there must be some really well hidden optional secrets. My only issue with this mission is the location of two non-optional switches that were difficult to locate (the fire room switch and the master bedroo...
